Yaron Samid

Yaron is an Internet entrepreneur and tech community leader. His last startup; Pando Networks (www.pandonetworks.com) is today the industry's leading commercial P2P content delivery company with over 25 million users and major media customers. Prior to Pando, Yaron co-founded DeskSite, growing the PCTV network to over 2 million viewers and sustained profitability. He previously led marketing and product management teams at Zend, BackWeb and Register.com. Yaron is currently working on this third startup at his incubator, Novadea.

Invited regularly to speak at industry conferences, in 2006 founded NY Video (www.nyvideo.org), the largest grassroots organization of web video professionals and TechAviv (www.techaviv.com), the largest global organization of Israeli hi-tech founders and investors. Each meet monthly to showcase, discuss and help fellow startups succeed.

Yaron serves on the board of directors at Aprigo, Pond5 and InterMatch, advises startups and investors and is an executive committee member of the Tevel.org Angel Group.
